Year of the Rock Star and bleeding hears. i mean hearts.

Sometimes I feel like a peice of meat.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Did anyone notice that there was a lot of rock bands on the ECMA awards show? Probably not because how many people watched it? Anyways, normally I complain because it's usually all celtic music, but this year, they had i think four performances by rock bands and also one rap group from halifax i think. there were even girls doing the beyonce booty dance. awesome.

They did not announce the blues album of the year, or they did and i didn't notice.

And what is with honouring sarah maclachlan by playing a clip of when she got an award LAST YEAR????? did i misunderstand that? I must have. There is no way that they would get sam the record man all the way up on stage to say "way to go sarah, we gave you an award last year but we still love ya, so here's a little clip to refresh everyone's memory!"

Whatever.

Normally the trailer park boys annoy me, but tonight i found bubbles super funny. i think what actually annoyed me, originally, about the trailer park boys, was that EVERYONE i know imitaded Bubbles for two years.

i bought 'happiness bluebird' earrings at the flea market yesterday and they do not make my ears happy. they made my ears bleed as they are quite sensitive ears that i have.

and, to make matters worse, I am catching a cold. FUCK is all i really want to say about that.

Poetry Grows on Trees

I am back to loving myself again. I just reread my whole blog and I laughed at all of my funny jokes. oh my god i'm awesome.

I wish I had all of my old diaries here because I am looking for old lame poems that i wrote when i was a fucking nutty kid and i can't find any.

Act your age, not your shoesize

I am being a crybaby again. I hate my job so much. I bought a new car recently, so my monthly payments are quite high. I can't just quit. And I can't quit really for a significantly lower paying job. I feel like my destiny is to work at a fucking call center for the rest of my life to help pay for my expensive lifestyle. more like non existant lifestyle. i'm having another useless worthless moment. don't worry, i'll be fine in a little while and love myself like i'm the most wonderful creation to ever walk the planet.

Has everyone heard of the wierd thing some people do by dangling a sewing needle either over your belly or over the palm of your hand and depending on the way it swings, it's supposed to tell you the sexes of your kids that you'll eventually have? it really freaks me out because i kind of believe in hokey things like that so i was really nervous when she did it. by she, i mean my friend jen that i visited yesterday. she held the needle over the palm of my hand and it swung back and forth which signifies a boy. it did that twice and then the third time, it swung in a circle which means a girl. she did it again a few minutes later and it did the same thing. maybe she was subconciously moving it or something. but i doubt that her subconcious would care if i had two boys and a girl. whatever. it freaks me out.

jen's dog floyd

I really wish there was a job that was called 'professional craft maker' and that it was my job, and i wish that i got paid $13 an hour to do it, at least. I would be happy then, I think

Hearts are for Holding

Today was a good day. It was eventful. I went to get a coffee with crystal. we went to participark so she could smoke. We sat on the swings and it sucks when you grow up and get a fat ass and swings are no longer comfortable. We went and got Brandon then went for breakfast with Ryan.

Then I got a car wash with an undercoat. Crystal says it's a good idea to get a car wash once a week and undercoat in the winter. She's smart.

Then I went to my friend Jenifer's house. She has 8 acres of land and it's full of trees but there's paths running through all of it. Her and I and her dogs went for a walk. I got some fun pictures of the dogs. We looked at pictures and drank really good coffee. Then got excited about going to the fabric store. So excited, in fact, that I got embarassed about being so excited. Unfortunately, the fabric store was closed when we got there so we went for a little drive.

I went to my parents house for supper. One of my brothers is home for spring break. he wasn't very excited to see me. He never is.

Then I went to my boyfriend's cousins semi-stagette party. Everyone but me dressed up in the ugliest brides maid dress they could find and said "oh, yoooooou didn't dress up..... how come?" Cause no one informed me that it was a halloween party. But it was fun anyway. I left early to go to charlottetown with crystal, but she thought she was having an aneurism so she decided to go to bed instead. She figured out that Tylenol Migrain contains a large dose of caffeine so the two pills made her feel wierd. I rented movies and came home to nifty knit. I made a hat. i like it.

Jill made me a hat. I went to charlottetown last night to visit her and she gave me a hat for my birthday. I took some awesome pics of myself in it.

I am happy that I take m camera with me all of the time now. I am feeling very inspired and I enjoy it again. I hope that I make some sort of career out of it someday. Jen says the average person makes three career changes in their lifetime. I am ready for a career. I am done with the call center stuff. It really makes me hate my life and makes me feel unneccessarily busy and useless. So what is you life all about? Who, me? Well, I convince people to keep their cell phones even though they really don't want them. Is it gratifying? Well.... no. Not really. Do you feel good about yourself? Not exactly. Do you feel as though you are working towards anything? No. Do you live paycheque to paycheque? Yes. Are you happy with that? No. That was me being interviewed by the job police. whatever, that was wierd.

I don't like it when people that I know don't acknowledge me. I think maybe I remember people that I randomly see and I think that because I remember them, they should remember me. But really, why should they, because I don't talk or anything. For example, I went to a party a year or so ago. There as a guy that was there that sells computers. I had actually met him before. I think he gave me, Jill and Melissa an apple in exchange for some rum at a music festival. Anyway, a week after this party, I call him to tell him that I want to buy a computer from him. I tell him that I met him at that party. He totally didn't remember me. It's really my own fault that people don't really notice me because I don't really talk in groups of people. As soon as I am in a group of people that I don't really know, I totally clam up and only the wierdos in wheelchairs talk to me. At the same party, this guy wheeled up to me and he had this right intense look on his face. I think he must have been on crack. He rolled up and was like 'Hey. Do you think it's wierd that I am talking to you? Do you think it's wierd that I picked you out of all of the group to talk to?" I was like uh... no? and then he said i have the most amazing eyes bla bla bla and started talking about how no on is really wierd because everyone is different and BLA BLA BLA and are you embarassed that I am talking to you and staring intently into your eyes andk ind of freaking you out????? I'm like uh... no? but secretly (or not so secretly cause it's written all over my face) I'm like oh my god where is my boyfriend, come and rescue me from this freak. Anyways. So, last night, I saw all these people that actually do know me and they just either didn't see me or ignored me when i yanked on their shirt. I hate that I have this really quiet voice that no one can hear so if i want to be heard i have to talk really loud, and when i think i'm talking loud, people still don't hear me, or they don't listen. There are these hippie girls that I feel really intimidated by. Once I ended up at one of their houses after some gig somewhere. Everyone got to talking about albums that their parents upsed to play when they were young. They were saying their favorite christmas albums. I hadn't said anything the whole time, and I finally spoke up and said 'my favorite christmas album was kenny rogers and dolly parton when i was a kid' and seriously, the all stopped talking and looked at me with this look of like ugh... how dare you speak, you don't smell like patchouli and buy all your clothes at frenchy's. I get interupted a lot. People apologize and ask to hear the rest of what I was saying, but then they interrupt again. And I feel like a baby if I get upset over it. I sometimes have feelings of incredible uselessness and worthlessness. Today was a really good day and now I'm sitting in my apartment bawling my eyes out because of how I felt at some dumb party over a year ago. My blog has become very emotional these days.

My sister forgot my birthday and I had to drop hints and she only got it when i said 'DOES FEB 23 RING ANY BELLS" and she's like oh... right. It really hurt my feelings. I'm am the biggest baby right now.

Don't let the bed bugs bite

I woke up in the middle of the night with a severe leg cramp. Totally uncalled for. I am waiting for crystal to call so we can go to charlottetown. I am going to buy a nifty knitter. yes, i have to go to charlottetown for it as no one fucking sells them in summerside.

i locked myself out of my apartment today. i had to go ask the landlord for a key and i also wanted to tell him about the leaky tap but he seemed in a rush cause he was at work so he kinda handed me the key and walked away. i have had a mild headache all day. it's bad karma for calling in sick. hope none of my supervisors read my blog....

my nanny and grampy called me from florida last night to wish me a happy birthday. i wanted to ask them how they were doing but they wouldn't really let me talk. they kept asking questions and as soon as i finished, they had another one waiting. nanny handed the phone to grampy and he said happy birthday and stuff and then said that nanny talked a hole in my ear so he wouldn't keep me. then he said 'love ya a big bunch!" that's cute.

2.22.2006

it's my birthday tomorrow.

E is for Ernest who choked on a peach. F is for Fanny, sucked dry by a leach

I was reading Ryans blog the other day and it was about capturing tadpoles. It reminded me of when I was little, about 5, and I used to capture tadpoles in a big red bucket. Once we found a robins egg and we picked it up. I think we broke it, because I remember feeling really guilty. I used to also capture grasshoppers in ice cream containers. Someone told me that grasshoppers produced molasses, so I thought that it would be nice of me to capture a ton of grasshoppers to make molasses for my family. I lost interest after maybe capturing one or two, which I suppose is a good thing, because otherwise, i would have supplied my family with a dish full of grasshopper shit. Mom used to tell us that dragonflies would sew our lips together if we talked to much. I don’t think that adults always understand that children don’t understand jokes. I was absolutly terrified of dragonflies until i realized that mom was joking.

We lived in a really big house with a pool. Our neighbours lived in this tiny run down house. The youngest in the family was a boy a year or two older than me named Andy, there was an older boy named Rene who would have been about 15 maybe, I think, and there was an older girl but I can’t remember her name. I remember when I was learning how to ride a bike, Rene came over and he was riding his bike in our driveway (it was a pretty big driveway). This is a wierd memory that I have. I don’t know why I remember it or why a five year old would think this way. I was just learning to ride my bike and he wanted me to ride beside him in the driveway. It made me feel really uncomfortable and I felt threatened by him. I really wanted to run away and go tell my mom, but i was embarassed, because if you say “Mom, the neighbor wanted me to ride my bike beside him” she would have said “ok... and?” Nothing had ever happened with him, and I didn’t dislike him or anything. Just by him saying, “Ride beside me” made me want to cry.

Once, when i was around the same age, my dad took me to the store up the road. he gave me money and told me to go in and ask for a pack of rothmans king size cigarettes. I didn’t know that it was illegal for a 5 year old to buy cigarettes... why would i? I think he thought it would be cute or something. So I went in and asked for the cigarettes and everyone in the store laughed at me, and the person at the counter refused to give them to me, even when I explained that they were for my dad who was in the car. They kept on laughing, probably also cause they thought it was cute, but I was unbelievably embarassed.

When I was in probably grade four and five, I tried out for the gymnastics team at school. It was more of a club than a team, really. We just got to go to the gym at lunch time and do summersaults and walk on the balance beam. There was a gymnastics ‘meet’ every year and we got to choreograph out own ‘floor routine’ and perform it at the meet. I thought I was super good and was all happy with myself for creating this amazing routine. When I got there, I watched a bunch of people do their routine. The first bunch all seemed to be really bad gymnasts and/ or quite overweight, so I thought I was going to do awesome and maybe even win a ribbon. I felt bad for the fat kids and the bad gymnasts because they probably didn’t know, but people were laughing at them and feeling sorry for them. Then here and there, there was a really super good gymnast and I was like woah, shit, i’m one of the shitty fat kids that everyone is laughing at. It was another really embarassing moment for me, because I really thought that I was good, and capable of going places with my fantastic gymnastic abilities, but in reality, i was a fat kid that could barely stand up after doing a summersault. I think I drempt about it recently. I remember waking up with this horrible feeling of disapointment and dispair and I kept thinking back to that day. I really thought I was good at sports, but I just wasn’t. I tried out for the basketball team in grade 6. I made it, but I think I only made it because my homeroom teacher was the coach and she would have felt too guilty cutting me from the team. I didn’t understand the game at all. I did something that i supposedly shouldn’t have done in the very first game. that was a foul. In the very last game, I was soooo excited. It was almost my turn to start playing. I stood up to get ready to go and my teacher looked at me and said, “Do you want to play or DO YOU WANT TO WIN???!!!” The first part of her question hadn’t quite registered yet and I only really heard the last part, so of course i yell, “I WANT TO WIN!!!!” and only after, did I realize that that mean that I would have to sit on the bench for the rest of the game, because I sucked too much, even to be on the team, and I was only there because of guilt. Awesome. The more I talk about my wierd little memories, the more I remember and the one’s that I am remembering right now are making me sad. I don’t want to type them anymore.

I also had really happy moments in my childhood that I remember. We used to dress up in dad’s clothes and mom would paint mascara mustaches on out faces and we would lipsynch to lee greenwood, ronnie milsap and hewey lewis. We also used to excersize with mom, and then go jump in the pool with out excersize outfits on. That made me happy.

And going back to the animal capturing thing... THis is kind of hard to explain. There were windows in the basement, but they were underground, so there were these holes dug out in the earth around the windows to let the light in. Know what I mean? Well, once, I saw a mouse in there, and he couldn’t get out because the hole was probably like two or three feet deep. So, I decided to give him a cheese slice, and I found a little blanket that was supposed to be for one of my toys, and I dropped it in the hole. I kept checking up on him. He didn’t eat the cheese and he didn’t lay under the blanket. He died. I was pretty sad.

Holy fast internet batman

I was talking to melissa about this the other day. I hate it when people think they have got you figured out and they say things like "oh, here's something you'll like, it's so YOU" and then it's some lame thing that you fucking hate. someone said to me once, "you'd really like this friend of mine. she likes all that girly music. you know, like sarah maclauchlin" FUCK OFF. ok i like maybe like two sarah maclauchlan songs, probably that she didn't even write. don't fucking think you can label me for some dumb reason like that i mentioned that i like one song. or when someone picks out a shirt and they say, oh this is soooo your style and it just happens to be the ungliest fucking shirt you've ever seen. it's insulting. i just hate when people think that they've got me 'figured out' or something.

here's another thing. when people that you either hardly know or hardly care about offer advice. sometimes, it's probably useful but whatever. there is a girl that i know that drives me fucking bananas who every time i mention any kind of issue that i'm thinking about, like going back to school, or running out of money, or whatever, she always pipes up with this deep fucking theory and heartfelt advice except it's totally not heartfelt cause she's a fucking bitch. Ugh I can't even describe her accuratly. it's like she thinks she has authority or something. like we should take her advice because SHE KNOWS.... and she gets angry if you don't take her advice. and she gets angry if you say something sarcastically. she'll take you seriously and say 'whatever JILL" and roll her eyes and not talk to you for a week, even though she fucking knew that whatever i said was a joke. she looks for reasons to get mad at people. god if she reads this, shes going to know that i'm talking about her and she's going to bad mouth me for the rest of my life. awesome. I said this on msn about her:
Red Jillicious says: (9:37:33 AM)
actually, surprisingly enough, she said very little. probably cause she knows that i'd tell you. all she said was that she hopes you don't get hurt and that she hopes that you don't fall for him too quickly and blah blah blah. things like that. cause you know, she's the book of knowledge and advice when it comes to relationships.

fuck i'm awesome. and whatever, you're probably all thinking what makes me better than her, why do i get to talk about her behind her back and bad mouth her? It's because i'm doing it in the name of niceness for the people she hurts and she's a bitch so whatever.

here's another thing I hate. when people are disrespectful to their parents. I mean, i know that there are situations where respect is not called for- like if your parents are abusive or something. But when you have had a wonderful childhood and your parents provided you with everything they were supposed to provide you with, and they love you, then don't fuking talk bad about them. I hate it when people expect their parents to buy them stuff and then get mad at them when they don't buy the nicest thing or don't buy them enough. i hate it when people say 'my parents bought cheese biscuits. me and my dad both LOVE cheese biscuits. I took the last two hahahahaha so when he goes to get one, they'll all be GONE!!!! HHAHAAHAHA!!!" seriously dude, that's not funny. that's bitchy. i feel so guilty for when i was a teenager (but i guess maybe it's just part of being a teenager) when mom did something that made me angry and i yelled at her or told her to shut up or told her to leave me alone. and i also feel guilty for the time that i didn't talk to my dad for a year. and i ddidn't even look at him on fathers day (when i was like 15). sorry mom and dad.

Here's the awesome thing I bought at Dominion Square. I couldn't believe my eyes. There was also a thing that looked like a speed limit sign that said "Don't stop for anything under 18." What??? do you need to put that up somewhere to REMIND yourself that you can't sleep with 18 year olds????

whatever. anyways. here's kind of a funny embarassing story. last weekend i guess it was... sometime when melissa was home. anyways, we were drinking, and then i came home. i was super hungry, but also REALLY tired, so i decided to make popcorn and bring it to bed with me. so i had all the lights off and i was shoving popcorn into my face and eventually fell asleep. this is embarassing. when i wok up in the morning i was face down on the bed- no pillow. there was a puddle of what i sleepily confused to be puke. it was just a little wet spot with this one peice of white, cottage-cheese like puke. I was soooo confused, because i was like woah, i didn't eat cottage cheese, and if i puked then why would i only puke such a tiny tiny amount?? and then, i looked on the floor and saw the half eaten bag of popcorn that I forgot i ate and realized that it was a little kernal of uneaten popcorn sitting in a little puddle of drool. oh my god. that's pretty awesome.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and my blog is better than yours

Hey Molson Canadian, that's a pretty awesome commercial with the song that sounds just like adam sandler. actually, it's pretty FUCKING annoying and lame to rip off someone else's voice.

Dear Diary

I have so many pictures that I want to post but my internet won't work long enough to load them and it upsets me. Probably the biggest reason that I blog is so that I have a place to put pictures, and if my internet doesn't work, then fuck. it's annoying. I feel like posting old diary entries but I think I am too embarassed to do that. Maybe I'll find something. I have had a diary for as long as I can remember, but I've never been totally honest when I write in it, because I am always scared that someone will read it, so I disguise peoples names or other things like that. Ok here is a diary entry that I am totally editing because it's super sooky and emotional. This was a couple of years ago. Keep in mind that I am way cooler now than when I was when I wrote this.

I am constatnly struggling with what I should be doing- am I too nice or not nice enough? Do I like myself of not? Do I deserve anything or not? Sometimes I feel like I am worth nothing- I am ugly, fat and stupid. I am annoying, obnoxious. My cheeks are too wide. My skin is bumpy. My hair is too thin and it's frizzy unless I use a straightener. I rely on other people for fashion advice, because I am cluless. I drool when I sleep and I look like shit in the morning. My armpits stink sometimes. I don't shave my legs that often and I only recently began plucking my eyebrows. Sometimes my tongue feels too big for my mouth. My throat will probably close over someday. My tonsils are huge. Energy balls really do freak me out. I am addicted to sunflower seeds. All of those things make me hate myself sometimes. But sometimes, I feel as though I am beautiful. I walk down the street and think that everyone is looking at me and wishing they knew me because I am so pretty. This pen feels nice on the paper. I think people know that I am a wonderful person and they can tell when they stare- uncontrolably- into my soulful eyes. I have a perfect body and my smile intrigues all that see it.

I'll stop there. I think EMO is the correct word to describe that. I'll tell you about energy balls. Jill and James were in this puppet show thing and part of it was that there was a guy that would come every week and teach them tai chi. he taught them how to make 'energy balls.' i'm not exactly sure the purpose of energy balls but james would make them all the time by moving his hands aroung an imaginary ball in front of him. I would imagine it to look like fire, if it wasn't invisible. They were supposed to be made of positive energy. Anyway, he would make them and pretend to throw them at me and it really made me feel wierd because - fuck i sound crazy right now- it would freak me out because i would imagine that he was concentrating all of his negative energy into a tiny little space and then throw it at me so that I would absorb it. It made me feel the same way I feel about ferrets and other rodents. Which is "not good" if you are wondering.

When we were in junior high, my best friend and I were fucking wierdos and we would go to the bathroom and get a bit stoned off of my asthma puffers. we weren't really stoned, we would just take a bunch of puffs off of it and it would raise our heart rate and we'd shake a little. we called this 'cold.' so if we were depressed for whatever reason and decided to take like four or five tylenol because we couldn't deal with the pain and heartache, we'd come to school and tell the each other that we were 'cold' that day. then we would write eachother notes with either jewel or marilyn manson lyrics to describe how we felt. we were INDIVIDUALS.

Seven years of bad luck. Awesome. Just broke a mirror. And it was a pretty mirror too. FUCK. I hope I don't have bad luck. Actually, I think luck is a dumb concept. I don't think that people specifically have bad luck or good luck. I think that good things and bad things happen to everyone... I don't know. I guess I just find it hard to understand the concept of luck. Whatever. I hope like my love ones don't die because I broke a mirror or something.

Dick is a Dick is a Dick

Ok way to go dick cheney. Do you have to get your eyes tested before they give you a hunting liscence? I sure do hope so. Can you imagine how horribly guilty you would feel if you accidentally shot someone? My grandfather was shot in the leg 50 some years ago in a hunting accident. He died almost exactly 50 years later (almost to the day) from a stroke that was possibly caused by a blood clot in the leg that he got shot in. Pretty wierd eh. First he had to go to the hospital because of a blood clot in his leg, and then he had a stroke. He was a pretty cool guy. It's wierd when people die. I don't really believe in heaven, but I do think that they can hear me. Like sometimes I feel like saying hi to grampy and I think he knows that I'm saying hi. But also i'm like shit... did you also just hear me say that I don't believe in heaven? And do you also hear like you kids and grandkids having sex? I feel kind of disrespectful if I post pictures in the same post as me talking about my grandfather that died.

p.s. i also feel a bit guilty talking about my dead grandfather in a post called dick is a dick is a dick. but what's done is done.

Two days in the life of shitty internet

Fuck I am annoyed with free internet because it doesn’t work all the time, but I feel like I am being ungrateful if I complain about it so I won’t. Now I am writing this in Apple works and I will post it later.

Ok so here is the sitch. Melissa is having a bath and my other friend Jill is on her way over. Jill and Melissa haven’t spoken in almost three years and so it’s weird that they’re going to tonight and all of us are nervous about it. So I am getting drunk to avoid the awkwardness.

I feel like I don’t have anything important to say and it’s annoying because I feel as though I had a pretty eventful week, but I only made one post and it was boring. Melissa is here and we had a fun day the other day. We went on a picture journey and we went to Bingo where I won a $10 gift certificate as a consolation prize to the 50/50. I was so excited about it but also like yeah, I knew that would happen, because ok. I win 50/50 draws quite often. And I think my mom does too. It’s fuckin genetic man. We were sitting beside this man and a woman and the man won twice. And he didn’t even really get excited. Like i could kind of hear him whisper to the lady “Oh, I am set here” and then the guy would call the number and he’d just calmly raise his hand and say bingo. Like fuck, if I was set, I would be fucking shaking and bouncing around in my seat, and if I won i’d like jump up and squeal BINGO!!!!!!! But the guy, he kind of looked at me and then pointed to his paper and mouthed the word ‘bingo’ all calm and cooly but he potentially won $400 at that point so i was like what the fuck. $400 is a lot of money to me and if I was potentially getting $400 for not doing anything, I’d be fuckin happy. There was a man/woman at bingo. At one point, I was totally convinced that it was a man and at another point, I was totally convinced that it was a woman.

Whilst at bingo, I went to the bathroom and there was two names carved on the door and it said they were cows. Once in high school, I went to the bathroom and someone wrote on the wall that i was a slut or a bitch or something. I was kind of upset but also like woah, who would do that???? cause i don’t think i ever did anything to make someone hate me enough to write that. But I guess I did. I am curious to know who it was. I want to know if it was someone who I considered to be my friend except they secretly hated me, or if it was someone that I didn’t know and they didn’t know me but for some reason thought that I was a slut or a bitch. I’m not a slut and I am sometimes a bitch but no one should write it on the bathroom stall.

************

This is way later now. It’s almost 4AM. I don’t really want to talk about the night’s events..... I’ll talk about something else.

I like to reserve the right to not want to hang out with people. I really like having my time to myself and I like just being alone and I think I kind of like being lonely. But, I also like to tell people I will MAYBE hang out with them, but “we’ll see.” I like making and having friends when it is convenient. I like to have friends for when I feel like being friendly, but I also would rather them leave me alone when I’m not feeling friendly. Although, I feel sad when they don’t ask me to hang out because I feel unloved, but when they do ask me to hang out, I feel crowded. And I’m not trying to tell any one, in particular, that I don’t want to be their friend. It annoys me that I am like this and I have been like this for a while I think. I feel guilty when I am not in the mood to spend time with people that are supposed to be my friends. I feel like they will be offended and think that there is something wrong with them for me not wanting to spend time with them. It’s not that at all. I just like to be alone mostly, I think. About 7 years ago I liked this guy and we ended up dating for a few weeks. Then he decided that I was too young for him so he dumped me for his ex-girlfriend. Then he decided that he didn’t like her and redecided that he liked me and asked me out again, but I said no because I didn’t want to just get broken up with again a week later when he changed his mind again, but then he kind of kept asking and saying that he made a big mistake in breaking up with me and I got super annoyed for him liking me.

******************

Now it’s 11AM and my internet is fucking working here and there, but not for long enough so I can’t make a post and I can’t have a decent MSN conversation with my boyfriend that lives on the other side of the country. Awesome.

There is a problem with blogger and it won’t let me load pictures so whatever. later.

Strong coffee and crying baby

That is what my morning consisted of. Crystal came over to get her glasses as she forgot them here last night. She brought Brandon and he fuckin screamed the whole time. poor guy. And Melissa slept through the whole thing... well, i think i did hear her moan once or twice, probably to say either shut the fuck up or shut the fuckin door. so i shut the fuckin door. she's still asleep. we looked at her old pictures last night. This is one of me that she took a loooong time ago. There's a wierd blotch on my face. That is from when one of the many cats that have been in and out of our lives peed n her box of pictures.

We went to trivia last night. That was wierd. I hadn't been there in a long time. Probably close to a year. Actually very close to a year. I think the last time i went was maybe on my birthday last year. i used to go every week. anyways. we didn't win, but we did alright i guess.... out of practice, i suppose.

I remembered last night that i like gin and tonic. I drank gin last summer but I drank A LOT of it and got super hammered and mad and threw troys capo into the fire and I thought it was hilarious but people were like woah, jill, that's not cool.... so I stormed off and cried and troy asked what was wrong and i was like "you don't even fucking care you cause YOU DON"T EVEN LIKE ME!!!!!" and then I was really embarassed. When I drink, I am either really happy and obnoxious and loud, or i cry and hate everyone and think everyone hates me. awesome.

Today is out picture journey. I'd be way more excited if I didn't feel like puking. I think my coffee is rotten. Is that possible?

She'll Be Comin' Around the Mountain... IN THE KEY OF GEEEEEEEE

In PEI, we havea thing called Community School. I don't know if other places have it or not. Every winter, they advertise classes for random things at locals schools or community centers, you pay $15 and you go for one night a week for ten weeks or so. There's always things like guitar, computers, sewing (which I am taking this year), belly dancing, etc.. Not last year, but the year before, whilst living in Charlottetown, my sister and I took fiddle lessons. I took fiddle lessons yearr ago and know how to play like six tunes or something... but it had been a while... And my sister's boyfriend playes the fiddle, so she knew a little bit, but neither one of us knew enough to be able to say that we play the fiddle. So, we get to the first fiddle class and the teacher... oh my. I wish I had a picture of her. She was a short lady, probably about 55-65 years old.... hard to say... She always wore a trucker had, and it ALWAYS matched her blazer, which matched her pants. She'd either be all in red, green blue or yellow. Once, I made my roommate come just to look in the door to see her. I really wish I had a recording of her voice. It was unbelievable nasaly. So we get there and she asks everyone how much fiddle experience they had. Mostly people either never picked up a fiddle before, or just got one for christmas or something like that... not much experience. She she gets to us and we tell her that we know a little bit, but not much. She says, 'OK. Maybe after class, just go get your $15 back and don't come back. This is a beginner class." We say, "Well, we are beginners." She says, "No, I mean, this class is for people that do not have ANY experience." We say, "Well, we don't REALLY have any experience." She says, "OK, just get your $15 back and don't come back." We say, "Well, I'm sure we'll get SOMETHING out of this, we really would like to stay." So she dropped it for a while, but said again at the end of the class, as well as at the beginning of ever other class, "You know, this IS a BEGINNER class." We think she was scared that we would be better than her. I think we were. She taught us how to play She'll be coming around the mountain IN THE KEY 'A GEEEEEEEE and When Ireeeesh Eyes are Smiling IN THE KEY 'A DEEEEEEEEE. Oh I really wish everyone could hear the voice..... Unbelievable. She called my house one day and left a message. It was saved on the answering maching and listened to over and over and over again by me and my roommates and everyone that came over. She also kept saying, "THANKS A MIL-LI-ON JIL-LI-AN!!"

Melissa is home now. We didn't do anything too exciting last night. We cruised the strip looking for some Kareoke, but alas, there wasn't any. It was Sunday in Summerside, though, so what can you expect, really.... We played Cranium. And we took pictures but none of mine were nice. I'm excited to go on our picture journey and go to trivia. I haven't been to trivia in probably close to a year. I hope I didn't lost my touch. And James is coming too! I'm going to go give the new sobeys another shot...

Dreaming of Milfs

THIS IS MY POST FROM THE OTHER DAY THAT WOULDN'T WORK CAUSE MY INTERNET CRAPPED OUT...

I feel obligated to make a post, even though I really don't feel like it cause I think I'm catching a cold and whatever... I'm sick of blogging kind of.

Last night I had a dream that there was a milf bowling tournament. I really hate that word, which is not actually a word. It sounds disgusting.

I guess I'll post a picture or two of my nails cause I'm awesome. It's hard to take a nice picture of your fingernails while holding a super heavy camera in one hand. So here's a dumb picture....

Yesterday, I put makeup on and did my hair kind of nice cause i had a manicure and nice new shapely eyebrows and I wanted to look pretty. i haven't put makeup on in a few months cause i don't know why, but since troy left, i always seem to be in a rush and i never get anywhere on time, so i usually have to rush out the door and don't have time for makeup. I guess maybe because since he's been away, instead of spending time on makeup, i spend time checking my email....? I don't know. Also, he hates being late (I do too, but him, more so) so I guess when he's here, I'm more pressured to be on time.

I took my blue inhaler three times this morning and I'm still feeling a bit short of breath.... awesome... that probably means that I have a cold. as soon as i woke up, i took two vitamin c things and two eccinacea things. i totally don't know how to spell that.

I took a bunch of fuckin dumb pictures of myself last night, as I wanted to show off my nice new eyebrows, but they're just dumb and I don't want to post them, so I'll post the least dumb ones. Maybe...

Also I am proud of myself for hardly eating any chocolate this week. I had one cookie from Tim Hortons, when I caved and bought a Tim Hortons coffee. But it's all crystals fault cause we were at the dollarama and as we were leaving she said "ok. now I need a coffee" and we were right behind tim's so I couldn't very well go through the drive thru for her and not get myself a coffee and I couldn't very well go through the drive thru and get a coffee and not get a caramel pecan cookie. So that was my ONLY chocolate all week. I'm doing pretty good. Last night, I bought coffee that you make in a perculator so now I can make my own coffee instead of buying which will save me like $4 a week... so yay for me. And, SHIT, I just realized that I bought some kind of chocolate flavoured coffee so whatever. Coffee warms the soul. Love makes a soft pillow. Hahahaha.

I am excited for melissa to come home and we can have fun and take pictures and maybe James will come and visit and it will be fun. I just sent him a text message as he does not enjoy receiving long distance phone calls. The reason that I am rambling now is because my internet disconnected and I am just wasting time until it reconnects. I should be doing something productive, like crocheting. Here's a picture of the blanket I am making. Way to focus....

And here is the beautiful material I am using to make pants.

OK... who knows how to make iPhoto stop opening when I plug in my camera? I fucking hate iPhoto and it opens automatically every time and takes like an hour to load, just so I can shut it down. FUCK. I am sure there is a super simple way to do it, but I have searched and searched and I have tried everything imaginable and I just can't figure it out. But I'm an idiot so... Just like fucking burning cds... I thought it was this big HUGE production but then Ryan told me that this other thing existed called a 'burn folder'.... uh.... way to fucking pretend your a mac nerd, jill, but not know anything.

My photography teacher used to get mad at me all the time cause I never focused correctly. How are you supposed to be a professional photographer and not know how to focus???? Uh... get an auto-focusing camera? Right. I was such a fucking slacker in photography school. I would like to say that if I could do it again, I would go to school every day, I would work super hard and blah blah blah but I really don't think I would. well... I guess it depends on the situation. My first year sucked because I lived in summerside and drove to charlottetown every day. my car sucked, also, that winter (much unlike this winter) there as a lot of snow, and I always left early 'just incase' it was going to storm. Oh also, back to the shitty car, my dash lights didn't work so I couldn't see how fast I was going, but also, my spedometer stopped working too, so even if it lit up, I couldn't tell how fast I was going anyway. Luckily, I never got a speeding ticket. Way to go, Ford Escort. So, while everyone was starting to make friends and go for coffee after school, I was driving back to summerside. So I ended up being a loner and never went on picture taking expeditions with anyone, so I wasn't like inspired by a group to go take pictures like everyone else was. Second year was a bit better cause I lived in charlottetown, so i went to school mostly every day but still, i didn't really go beyong what was expected of me. also, i think i was a bit depressed or something so on my lunch break, i'd usually go home and sleep on the couch for an hour or more so i really did miss a lot of school. In first year, me and 4 or 5 other people got put on probation cause we skipped to much school. We had to be at school from 9-4 EVERY DAY for like five weeks or something or else we'd get in a lot of trouble. I actually did it, even braved some storms to get to school. Although, I did miss the last day of the probation period because I had to go see Ron sexsmith in halifax. Luckily, the teacher understood and I didn't get in trouble. I told him that it was a good chance for me to get out and take pictures in a different place.... I don't think I took one picture the whole time i was there, but i did have a lot of fun, so... whatever.

oh my god i think i might puke

down the crapper

I'm at my parent's house... just finished the laundry. my internet stopped working mid-post this morning... It was a big one too. So I copied it all and next time my internet works, you'll get to see my super huge post with pictures of my manicure and my perfectly sculpted eyebrows.

2.01.2006

Brand New Me

I got my eyebrows waxed. I normally just get the bottom waxed but today I also got the top done... She just kind of did it, but i like it. Also I got my very first manicure. I have never had such pretty nails. Pictures to come... I'm still nervous that I'll fuck them up so I don't want to touch anything. Here's a wierd thing that the manicurist said... It's pretty funny. First she talked about how people in Vancouver a super wierd, especially the waiters and waitresses. She said that they kind of stand there and watch you eat and keep asking you questions and trying to get to know you. She said she was pretty frustrated with them, because she'd barely even get a chance to take a bite before they'd be asking how the food was. Anyways, she was saying like ok... there should be a limit as to what waiters can ask you, like they should ask what they have to ask and then leave so you can eat and enjoy your food.... she said that they just kept crossing the line and it was inapropriate. So then, she starts talking about how she got her tonsils out a few weeks ago. she said "you know that little hangy thing in the back of your throat? Well, it swells by like 400%!!!!" Then she kinda lowers her voice and kinda whispers "It's like having a little DICK in your mouth ALL the time!!!!" Ok talk about crossing the line and being inappropriate!! Then she says "I told my husband, I know I SOMETIMES have a dick in my mouth but this is like ALL the time!' Uh... i laughed my ass off, partly cause it's something funny that you would expect your friend to say to you, and partly because it was so uncomfortable to think about how this stranger is talking about having a dick in her mouth. awesome. way to cross the line like a vancouver waitress.

so it's snowing finally. i'm pretty happy about it, excpt I wish that my nails were not sensitive so i could go take pictures in the snow. i'll take pictures later and show you my new beautiful nails
